Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Instant Camera Review

by Nicole

Now that Black Friday and Cyber week are coming to an end, I would like to share one of my favourite purchases! My lovely father bought me a Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Instant Camera from Best Buy (on sale for $69.99) and I LOVE it. I picked pink, but the camera comes in a bunch of fun colours!
A few years back I had a photo
taken with one at the Katy Perry concert and was overall not that impressed with it. The photo came out very dark, and the quality was just not great.

I must say, they have come along way in the past few years! The photos are of course not the quality that I would get with my digital camera, but as something fun to get instant photos this camera is great!

Some key things to think about if you are considering buying one:

· Film can be expensive. The average package is about $12 for 10 photos, although you can save by buying film in bulk.
· You only have one shot to get the photo. Every photo you take prints, so make sure you get it right the first time
· Don’t expect high res photos
· Buy the kit! The price difference between the kit and just the camera is $10.00 (at most retailers) but the kit comes with a package of film (10 photos)
